Blanket Drive For The Unhoused

We are excited to announce our upcoming blanket drive. As the colder months approach, many vulnerable individuals in our community may not have access to warm blankets. We invite all of our customers to join us in making a difference. You can participate by donating new or gently used blankets to any of our December events or by sending us a donation. Together, we can help ensure that everyone in our community stays warm this winter season. 

This blanket drive is an example of a “band-aid solution”, which can fail to address the underlying systemic issues that cause these crises in the first place. While such aid is crucial in providing immediate relief and saving lives, it is equally important to invest in long-term development initiatives that tackle root causes of poverty, inequality, and instability. This includes building resilient health and education systems, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, and strengthening local capacities to mitigate the impact of future crises.
